New Owner, New Location

Hello crafty friends,

What a wonderful Easter weekend we have just had.  It’s an exciting time here at KatiPatch!

As the new owners of KatiPatch, we want to introduce ourselves and assure you that we are committed to continuing the crafting legacy that you know and love.

Our names are Pauline and Dave and we are supported by a team of wonderful crafters.  For the last 16 years we have had a business manufacturing hand crafted teddy bears and soft toys.  For the last nine years we have had Bear Essentials an online store where you can buy everything you need to make your own teddy bear and soft toys.

Together, our vision is to nurture creativity by providing crafters like you with an inspiring space, top-quality materials, and helpful guidance. We know this store has been an important part of the community and we want to keep that going.

We also wanted to let you know that over Easter weekend we have moved the shop to a our new location that will enable your crafting adventures to continue.  What’s more we have amalgamated it with Bear Essentials.

Our new space continues to offer the same supplies, tools, and classes as before. We’ll continue to have room for workshops / classes and meetups.  We will be continuing to have the Friday session for coming together to quilt.

The main move is finished, we just have the last bits to tidy up, and we can’t wait for you to join us in our new home from Friday 5th of April from 9am.  Our new location is Unit 5, 137 Tetley Road, Katikati.

This new chapter will help us better serve our crafty community. We look forward to continuing to inspire your creativity at our new shop. Let us know if you have any questions about the move – we’re always happy to help.
