More Grunges arrive

Today I opened yet another delivery of Grunge fabrics. What is Grunge, you may ask, if you haven’t come across them before.
The Oxford Dictionary describes Grunge thus:
- Informal Grime; dirt.
- A style of rock music characterized by a raucous guitar sound and lazy vocal delivery.
- Example sentence:
The fashion associated with grunge rock, including loose, layered clothing and ripped jeans.
Well, whether this is taken literally or not, Grunge fabrics from Moda have become a very desirable item at Katipatch. I am constantly having to reorder colours, and add more to the already considerable number already in stock.
And what’s not to love about these “plains” with their random splashes of another one or two colours, just as if a paintbrush had been waved about without care? Maybe the look is reminiscent with grime, dirt and ripped jeans afterall!!
